Wow, I think Bory castle is the coolest thing in Hungary.
You walk down this normal looking neighborhood and then BAM! There's a castle in front of you. A beautiful one too. It was built by one guy and took 40 years. It has a lot of pantings and such of his wife. We videoed some of it for you guys back home.
Anyways, after the castle, we got on a train to Austria but almost slept through our stop. We had to rush off the train.
Today we're taking a slow day.
I'm off. Damn place charges 2 euros per 1/2 hour =P

Loved the pictures you sent Debi. What was the red stuff Brian was drinking? - he was in a cave I think. And what city was the waterfront picture taken in? - there was a building with a dome in the background. I want to send a couple pix to the kids with captions.

The red stuff is wine that flows down from presumably one of the restaurants up above. It was very strong and smelly, we can't remember the reason behind the "ever flowing wine", it was in the Labrynith under Castle Hill in Budapest.
ReplyDeleteThe waterfront picture is Budapest in Hungary. I believe its the Pest side, taken from the Citadell in Buda.
Tell the cuzs hi for me.
Hey! The pictures are great! Miss you!
ReplyDeleteHere's one of the pics of the castle from the back I think..
